Before these RBI/RSW Revival meetings, it was as though I could see and hear everything around me as one in a coma; however, I was unable, restricted, barred in my ability to engage — even as an Ordained Minister of the Gospel.  Lassoed by religion and tradition, and gagged by knowledge, I knew I was dying…

I awoke from the coma I was in during the RBI/RSW Revival week’s first Tuesday morning meeting on August 22, after GOD ordered a delicate life-saving surgery where the knife of man could not even touch but only executed through the Holy Ghost and the Word of GOD, delivered through all of the Ministers during these meetings.

Throughout each subsequent RBI/RSW Revival meeting, I understood something new was taking place in and upon me – it was FRESH FIRE and NEW WINE!  Sitting in these Revival meetings, to the saturation point, my old wineskin burst forth because of all the new wine pouring in through 34 continuous services I attended during the Revival for students.  Each Minister had something unique and pertinent to my deepest need to not only undergo the heart surgery, but recover, attend specialized rehab, then get back in the race.  The Lord spoke to my heart asking me if I perceived He was doing a new thing in me, and as I responded to His love and to His drawing me close, I felt compelled to register for the River School of Worship.

Pursuing the deep sweet fellowship with the Lord through worship, like I once enjoyed, and actually stepping forward into fulfilling one of the deepest desires of my heart, just to focus on Him, is making me happy beyond my ability to imagine it.  I am being changed from glory to glory as I remain seated with Christ in Heavenly Places, living in that secret place of deep intimacy – total dependence upon Jesus Christ – who is, who was, who forever and always is my BREAKTHROUGH…..Jody A.

I have always enjoyed academia, the quest for knowledge and the air of learning has appealed to me. I had started watching the Great Awakening in January 2011. As time went on with me watching the Great Awakening Pastor Rodney Howard Brown stated that they were offering scholarships for the academic year 2011- 2012, and I applied for the scholarship. As a result, I was blessed with the scholarship. Since I have been attending the River School of Worship I have been truly blessed. This is a great institution. I am growing spiritually as well as maturing in the ways of God. I am learning how to flow in the anointing, and learning and understanding Gods word because the teaching is awesome. At the same time, I am learning how to live the life that a Christian should live in the eyesight of God. My personal vision is to be able to lead the music ministry and congregation into the presence of the Lord through praise and worship. I want to use all the elements that are acceptable to God. I am being transformed daily. On January 22, 2008 I was in a bad car accident with an 18 wheeler. I know that it was God that spared my life, because my time in this life wasn’t finished yet. There is work for me to do for God’s kingdom. I was in the hospital for four in half months. The doctors didn’t expect me to live, but look at God. My faith and trust in God continues to grow daily while I am attending RSW. The Institution is a school of faith, healing, believing, and trusting in God. If you don’t know God when you arrive, when you leave this great institution you will know the Lord as your personal savior, because God is awesome.

While watching The Great Awakening on CTN last summer, I heard about the opportunity to apply for a scholarship at The River Bible Institute. I had a strong desire to apply because I knew God was calling me to full-time ministry. I love people and I always wanted to evangelize but I really didn’t know where to start.

I am so grateful that I received my scholarship and I started school on August 22, 2011. I have been blessed to begin my classes while The Great Awakening was broadcasting live every night Sunday through Friday. I have been stretched beyond my comfort zone in many ways and I have grown in the areas of the spirit, faith and knowledge of the Word of God.

At the beginning of the first semester, God did awesome changes in my heart through the many teachings on seedtime and harvest. I learned that everything we do is all about the condition of the heart. As I grew in this area of giving, my faith in God for my provision grew also. I have learned to trust him more than ever before to be my Jehovah Jireh.

The River Bible Institute has wonderful teachers and the Word of God has become more relevant, active and alive in my life. The combination of powerful teaching and preaching coupled with the hands-on ministry opportunities has speedily propelled my ability to win souls, pray for the sick, and minister to people effectively over the phone.

I am proud to be a student at The River Bible Institute, and I look forward to stepping up to the next level so I can learn how to win more souls for Christ.

All The Glory Goes To God.  Six months after my second marriage, my husband left the state. I didn’t know he’d been running from the law 9 years, an alcoholic for 15 years. Scared, I filled out “Do It Yourself” divorce papers; but before I filed,…in September, I got saved, filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in other tongues.(Acts 2:4)  LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE!  One day desperately CRYING out with ALL my heart, “GOD” “I don’t want another divorce. Why, can’t YOU straighten out his life? YOU’RE the ONLY ONE that can….Did God answer my prayer?….HOW is the “?”…..Well, in November, we moved to join my husband.  One month later, on December 21st, driving, the police pulled us over; took my husband straight to jail, then Federal prison, facing 49 years, awaiting sentencing.  That left me and our 2 children destitute, no car, food, money or heat in freezing winter.  After 2 weeks GOD, through my mother, mailed me a book, “With Men This Is Impossible, but, With GOD All Things Are Possible.”(Matthew 19:26).  That grain of mustard seed, “God’s Word,” came alive in me.  “Faith” was sown into my heart, took root, began to grow and became a tree.(Matthew 13:31,32).  I put that SCRIPTURE up all over, in every room.  That night I prayed with our children, “From this moment on, We Thank JESUS, for delivering Daddy home.”  Daily, for 2 weeks I spoke out Matthew 19:26.  Daily, the devil whispered lies of doubt to my mind.  The attorney, said, “Look at this as BLACK as possible, your husband’s staying in prison.”  But the Holy Spirit, repeatedly, spoke Matthew 19:26 inside me.  Hebrews 11:1, says, “NOW, Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.”  God had a purpose and plan for our lives; it was for good and not evil, to glorify Him. (Jeremiah 29:11).  After 4 weeks, on January 21st; miraculously, GOD delivered Daddy home!

The meetings definitely pumped you full of knowledge about the financial institutions and the banking systems of America and the corruption that is taking place.

When Pastor Rodney showed the videos of the mass crusades I was very touched.  I think mass crusades will take place in America as a result of the economic downturn in America and many will become hungry for God like never before.  The attendance for the meetings seemed very good and I think people are curious to find out what is happening in America.  Getting out of debt is another important key I got from these meetings and to protect yourself from the system.  Most importantly I learned to depend on God as my source!

Money changers, fractional lending, the exposing of the greed of evil men.  Who would have known such things would be taught in church?  Who could imagine that this is the next step to having the eyes of our hearts flooded with light?  It is not only a lesson in reality critical to the success of our commission to go into all the world and preach the gospel, but a light that shines on my heart to reveal the hidden things I could not see.  It has exposed my admiration of those whom I perceived to be “successful,” because they learned how to gain wealth and power in a corrupt system.  I am talking about people I know and love who “put up with me” because we are family, but are quick to let me know that they think I am weird and they are fully convinced I am in a cult.

It has driven me to my knees (just this morning) to truly forgive them realizing the seriousness of their deception, not only concerning me, but more importantly their love of money and the false security they cling to.

Since I moved to Tampa, FL to attend the River Bible Institute our lives have never been the same. Connecting with this ministry has forever changed my life.

It is such a privilege and an honor to be able to hear the Word of God preached with power, and purity. Since joining myself to this ministry, and hearing the Word of God, my faith has increased. I am not the same person—I am walking in a new authority in Christ Jesus. As I hear the Word being preached and demonstrated, my spirit man craves more of the Word and more of the things of Heaven.

How much my wife and I have grown becomes more evident as we minister to people. We are ministering out of the overflow, out of our relationship with the Holy Spirit, as taught in Bible school and in The River Church.
